Peptide Aptamer and Affibody Development Services
Peptide aptamers are small combinatorial proteins that are selected to bind to specific sites on their target molecules. Peptide aptamers consist of short, 5-20 amino acid residues long sequences, typically embedded as a loop within a stable protein scaffold. Fusion Biolabs have 4 ready-to-panning phage display libraries for meet your peptide aptamer development.
Fusion Biolabs have various platforms for peptide aptamer and affibody development.
- Phage Display of combinatorial peptide libraries
Phage display is the most widely used approach to identify and isolate high affinity ligands from combinatorial peptide libraries. Libraries of diversified peptide combinatorial libraries built on artificial scaffolds are introduced directly into the genome of M13 phage by fusing to the gene of the appropriate coat protein pIII.
Fusion Biolabs have four combinatorial peptide libraries for your target screening and biopanning.

Phage Display of combinatorial Z-format Affibody phage library
Affibody molecules are a class of small robust scaffold proteins derived from the IgG binding domain of Staphylococcus aureus protein A (SPA). Thirteen specific amino acids in the three α-helix regions of the IgG binding domain can be randomly mutated to construct an affibody library. This library can be screened to obtain affibody molecules with high affinity and specificity to any given target molecule.
Z-affibody Library

---|---|---|---|
Z-affibody | Constructed by saturation mutagenesis of the Z domain with random amino acid residues at positions 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 17, 18, 24, 25, 27, 28, 32 and 35. | OmpA leader sequence-Z-affibody | 4.8×109/4.8×1011 |
